Key Microlight statistics of NORWAY 2011/2012

- Annual total number of flights: 34797 (2011)
- Number of accidents & incidents reported (2011): 33 (dominating is landing incidents/accidents )
- Number of fatalities (2011 & 2012): none

- Accidents & incidents reported so far in 2012: 17

Competitions:
Norway held National Microlight Championships at the national sailplane centre Starmoen 21 July 2012.
Partipants: 7 aircraft   – classic classes/single class mixed

Participation in international competitions: none in 2011 & 2012

The Microlight Section work to lift it’s gyroplanes MTOM to the EASA Annex II limit of 560 kg.
