Google updated their satellite imagary in mid-March 2012 which clearly shows the site just before the test competition in June 2011.

The green arrow is in the centre of the takeoff and landing area. To give you an idea of scale, the clear rectangle is approximately 150m x 200m.
Our flying area is over the beach between the pier to the east and the river mouth to the west.
The large new hotel just behind the takeoff site to the north east is our HQ (and may also be the HQ for the entire games) so we are well positioned.
Other ABG events happen along the beach the other side of the pier to the east.
