- Since this event will include microlights and paramotors it seems likely a single Jury will be appointed for both events but there will need to be stewards for both events. Planning stage is still early (sept 2014) and the requirement is not yet known, but it seems likely other personnel will be needed too, so if you are interested in any other positions such as Competition Director, Marshals, Scorers Etc. then please apply here, check steward, but state your preference(s) in your summary of experience.
- Officials for this championship will be selected at the 2014 CIMA Plenary meeting.
- The position of monitor is not available because this is the separate CIMA appointment of WAG Liaison Officer.
- Since the cost of officials travel and accommodation represent a significant expense to the organizer it is CIMA policy to favour applicants from regions where travel costs will be reasonable.
- All officials are expected to arrive at the competition site at least a day or two before the opening ceremony and must remain on site until after the closing ceremony.
- Officials duties are covered in Chapter 5 of Sporting Code Section 10 and the FAI Jury members handbook (other FAI documents).
