The purpose of the CIMA WAG paramotors subcommittee is to:

  • Create rules for the WAG paramotor competition
  • Organize, run and score a qualifying system
  • Ensure that planning for competition at WAG is progressing according to plan.
  • Ensure competition at WAG is conducted according to plan
FAI announced in June 2014 there will be a 4th World Air Games in Dubai 01-12 December 2015.

Key dates

  • Organisational structure, to be submitted by 15.08.2014, to be approved by 31.08.2014
  • Event venues, have been submitted and visited, to be approved by 31.10.2014
  • Schedule/Programme, to be submitted by 15.11.2014, to be approved by 15.12.2014
  • Logistics, to be submitted by 15.12.2014, to be approved by 15.01.2015
  • An FAI Expert / Liaison Meeting will be held at Dubai during the DIPC (Dubai International Parachuting Championship 27.11.-10.12.2014). Please see www.dipc.ae (it is still the 2013 page, but gives some first impressions). The intention of this meeting is to work on:
    • Visiting the venues
    • Going through the air sport disciplines
    • Confirming the schedule / programme / time-table
    • Organisational issues
    • Logistics (hubs to transport equipment to/from Dubai)
    • Rules / regulations / selection process
