The purpose of the CIMA WAG microlights subcommittee is to:

  • Create rules for the WAG microlight competition
  • Organize, run and score a qualifying system
  • Ensure that planning for competition at WAG is progressing according to plan.
  • Ensure competition at WAG is conducted according to plan.
It was announced at the 2012 FAI General Conference that bidding had opened for WAG 2015, there were at least two interested host cities, and the final choice should be announced at the end of June 2013.
