Key FAI interfaces
Some of these already exist, but must be integrated into an overall scheme.
Nearly every ASC has its own way of registering competitors in championships, displaying championship and ranking results Etc.
This should be centralized together into a small series of generic interfaces within the FAI portal which can be used for all these purposes.
There are two basic forms:
Data collection
- Individual information
- Competition and championship information
- Competition entries
- Sporting licence validation
- Competition and championship results
- NAC info
- Memberships (ASC Delegates, subcommittees Etc)
Data display
- Competition entry lists
- Sporting licences
- Competition and championship results
- Ranking results
- Records
- Information about people (cv Etc)
- Calendars
Since there are relatively few interfaces it is not an unattainable ambition to get them to work reliably (error trapping Etc) and to properly internationalize them (so field attributes are shown in Chinese characters in China Etc.)
