Inflatable pylons

Inflatable pylons have become more-or-less mandatory at all international Paramotor events, and they considerably enhance national events too.

12m pylons are the best and most impressive but some makes can suffer in higher wind conditions. Pylons in slalom competitions should never be less than 8m tall.

Once inflated, a good quality 12m pylon will stay up in quite a strong wind with a small hand-held leaf blower set slightly above idle power while cheap pylons tend to have rather porous material and may not stand up in the same wind even with a much larger blower going full blast.

Pylons are ideal advertising platforms, manufacturers often offer ways to attach removable sponsor logos to their pylons, and with internal lighting they look great in the evening.
